Mark your calendars and get ready to kick off the season of hope at our Advent Preparation Brunch on November 23, immediately following the second worship service! Join your First Presbyterian Family for a delightful morning filled with scrumptious treats, engaging craft activities for all ages, and plenty of laughter. We look forward to sharing this wonderful and memorable event with you all as we prepare our hearts for Christ's coming!
Families, as we approach the sacred season of Advent, our church is thrilled to provide an excellent resource once again to help you engage in faith formation at home! We will be distributing the devotional Preparing the Way: An Illustrated Advent for Families starting at our Advent Preparation Brunch in November. This resource, designed for children and adults of all ages, invites your family to participate in the theme of "Preparing the Way" by exploring the stories of the prophets and God's messengers who anticipated Jesus’ arrival, and establishing a weekly rhythm of preparation through scripture readings, guided reflections, family activities, and discussion alongside coloring pages, all based on the Revised Common Lectionary; we encourage you to pick up your copy and set aside precious time to mindfully prepare your hearts for the coming of Christ this Advent.
